About Journal

This journal, published by the Department of Technical and Engineering Research Institute of Imam Hossein University, it is one of the specialized branches of the scientific-research journal "Aerospace Mechanics", which due to the wide range of topics and the need to publish more specialized journals in letter number 18 / 3/157508, dated 21/10/2012, from the Scientific Journal Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology received a scientific-research degree, and from now on it will be published independently. In addition, since before the independence of this Journal, four issues were published under the title "Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics" of the Journal of Aerospace Mechanics (which is being published since 26/5/83), consecutive issues of this journal since independence from 5 started. On 7/18/2014, according to the license number 72357 of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, this publication was converted from a quarterly to a Semiannual.

The topics of acceptance of the article

The main topics of the journal Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics are complex issues in basic, developmental, and applied research in the field: 

1- Fluid mechanics (currents such as calm, transient, turbulent, single-phase, multi-phase, viscous, non-viscous, compressible and non-compressible) and

2. Aerodynamics (non-compressible and compressible currents, including; infrared, sound limits, supersonic and supersonic), which can be solved using analytical, numerical, or experimental methods.

Note: Submitted articles should not be published in publications or domestic and foreign conferences or sent simultaneously.

Access to the content of the Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics Journal is immediate and free, and all articles are available to all users immediately after publication on the website of the Journal.Users are allowed to read, copy, download, distribute, print and search the full text of the articles and can use the articles of the journal for legal purposes without asking for prior permission from the author or publisher.
