در پژوهش حاضر، اثر لایه برشی باد (لایه مرزی اتمسفری) روی عملکرد و رفتار جریان حول روتور توربین باد مرجع MW5 ان.آر.ای.ال. بررسی شده است. برای این منظور، روش دیسک عملگر سهبعدی پایا با دقت قابل قبول و هزینه محاسباتی کم برای حل معادلات جریان حول روتور توسعه داده شده است. با استفاده از قابلیت تعریف توابع توسط کاربر در یک نرمافزار تجاری برمبنای روش حجم محدود، کدی برای اعمال ممنتوم مجازی به سیال و پروفیل جریان ورودی ناشی از لایه مرزی زمین نوشته شده و معادلات ناویر- استوکس در میدانی استوانهای با اضافهشدن عبارت نیروی حجمی بهعنوان عبارت چشمه حل میشود. روش دیسک عملگر سهبعدی که در این پژوهش توسعه داده شده، قادر است با حل معادلات ناویر- استوکس در ترکیب با الگوریتم ممنتوم- المان- پره دقت بهتری از رفتار جریان حول توربین نسبت به روش ممنتوم- المان- پره ارائه کند و درعین حال هزینه محاسباتی کمتری نسبت به حل کامل معادلات جریان داشته باشد. بهعلت عدمتقارن جریان ورودی به صفحه روتور، پرههای توربین شرایط مختلفی را درحین دوران تجربه میکنند. بنابراین، توزیع توان و نیروی محوری در راستای شعاعی پرهها در سه موقعیت زاویهای روتور مطالعه شده است. نتایج نشان میدهد که جریان برشی ورودی به صفحه روتور سبب عدمتقارن در الگوی جریان دنباله روتور، میدان فشار، سرعت و ورتیسیته جریان حول روتور و همچنین بارگذاری متناوب روی پرهها میشود. برای پروفیل لایه مرزی اتمسفری انتخابشده در این پژوهش، بیشترین اختلاف نیروی محوری وارد بر هر پره حدود kN125 است که مابین دو موقعیت زوایای 90 و 270 درجه درحین دوران رخ میدهد. همچنین، در این حالت عدم تقارن فیزیک جریان حول روتور سبب ایجاد فشار بیشتر به نیمه بالایی دیسک عملگر شده، باعث ایجاد گشتاوری خمشی بر صفحه روتور میشود.
